1. Melbourne, Australia – Mackenzie Falls
Stay blissfully out of the heat down under as June marks the beginning of winter in Australia. Take a three-hour drive from Melbourne to Mackenzie Falls – one of Australia’s largest and most popular waterfalls. Said to be at least four million years old, Lake Biwa is Japan’s largest lake and is a stone’s throw away from Kyoto.
