Foodlicious Moments Episode 1:
Hello people! Welcome to my first episode of FML (Foodlicious Moments Lifestyle) food review!!! If you have read my previous blogpost or followed my twitter, i guess by now you guys know what happening here. Yess! starting from today, every Thursday 10pm, there will food post coming out here..! 🙂
As title said ‘back to olden days’ (not going back to the past but finding foods which can be found in the past)… Therefore today will be introducing some famous foods which you can easily found in the olden days (about 1960’s).. i call it olden dishes.
#1: Popiah
Last saturday, met my cousin for lunch at bugis hawker centre (opposite bugis iluma) and we found a Popiah stall which everyone love it. It was a long queue and guess how long i waited for my popiah? haha… i waited about 10 minutes..
This Popiah stall has it’s specialized in handmade Popiah skin and of course their tradition home cooked Tumip as well as their ingredients such as sweet and chilli sauce. Overall, i can say that it taste delicious! The price of each roll of Popiah sell at $1.30 SGD. Worth it!!
Location:
Bugis: Blk 270 Queen Street #01-73
Albert Centre Market & Food Centre
Let’s have some “oily” food… Since is the first episode, i decided to add on some “bonus” here by introduce few more olden dishes which i eaten at old airport road hawker centre few days back. Basically, they are Satay, Fried Kway Teow and Fried Prawn Mee.
It’s a great decision to have dinner at old airport hawker centre because first of all, the price was reasonable and affordable for all the citizen living nearby. Secondly, most of the foods stall are labeled with recommended sign. *Must Try it out*
Are you feeling hungry now? haha… Hope you guys had enjoy reading it. As i quoted in my tweet: “Part of the secret of a success in life is to eat what you like and let the food fight it out inside.” So just enjoy eating it without thinking much!
Here come to the end of my Foodlicious Moments Episode 1. Stay tune for my Episode 2, next Thursday same time at hpility.blogspot.com!
