Last month, I chance upon and had my first mala steamboat dinner with a group of friends at Chao Tian Men steamboat restaurant located in the heart of Chinatown, Singapore. The Chao Tian Men steamboat restaurant served up to six authentic mala soup bases all the way from Chong Qing, China. Diners will have an option to choose the spicy level from mild to extra hot when selecting the soup base for the steamboat. Likewise, the steamboat also comes with a divider if you wish to have two different soup bases.

The interior space of the Chao Tian Men Mala Steamboat Restaurant looks casual and comfortable for customers to dine-in. There are total of more than 20 customize flavorful sauces that suit both Foreigner and Singaporean taste buds.
