LG Electronics (LG) today announced the launch of the new Arirang TV app for CINEMA 3D Smart TV in Singapore. Korea’s leading English-language television network, Arirang broadcasts news, entertainment, documentary, cultural and educational programming to more than 188 countries around the world. The app offers a number of great shows and, exclusive to LG Smart TV for the next year, access to live TV and the Hot Clip VOD service.
The Arirang TV app offers an extensive selection of Korean Wave content, without any charge. Exclusive to LG Smart TV for the next year, the live TV service allows users in all parts of the world to enjoy Arirang shows at the real time they air in Korea. One-year exclusive, the Hot Clip service provides access to the Arirang TV’s most popular programs on demand. For added convenience, the clips can be displayed in the lower part of the TV screen, making it easy to search VOD content while simultaneously
Complementing the exclusive services and live radio, the app also features total of 16 programs across five different categories – K-Pop, K-Tour, K-Style, K-Topic and News. All K-Pop programs on the Arirang TV app will be available in six different languages from this September.
The Arirang TV app is now available in Singapore on the LG Smart World Premium Card for both 2012 and 2013 TV models.
