Thank you Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel for the brilliant staycation to celebrate the 9th year of my blogging journey. It was my first staycation with Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel and it turned out to be an amazing and memorable experience. Nestled in the heart of Orchard Road, the Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is a 5-star luxury hotel located in a vibrant shopping area and is within the conveniently walkable distance from the Orchard MRT Station.
2. Great comfortability
Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel offers a comfortable room experience for business and leisure travellers. The newly refurbished interior allows better use of space whereby all rooms are fitted with state-of-the-art furnishings including signature 1956 leather Eames Desk Chairs. The bathrooms come with large walk-in rain showers as well as extended vanity areas and technology upgrades include a 46-inch Samsung Full-HD Smart TV in every room and 55-inch in every Suite.
I was offered a premier deluxe room (32 to 34 sqm) for my staycation. I was in love with the hotel room and pleased by the extra space and the room amenities available. The room itself comes with high speed wireless internet connectivity which allowed me to stream videos on either their Samsung Smart Television or on my laptop without any delay. The electrical charging points are easy accessible and within reachable distance from my bed.
3. Excellent hotel services
Guess what? Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is always ready to surprise their valuable guests! It’s marvellous and I would say that their services are excellent. I love the surprise that Marriott had prepared for me including greeting cards as well as specially made cookies.
4. Iconic cityscape view
One of the highlights at Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel is their iconic cityscape view. It was an amazing moment to catch the gorgeous golden sunset from our hotel room and it has the perfect view of the cross-road junction between Orchard road and Scotts road.
5. Makes you feel like a VIP
The executive lounge was unveiled early this year with the purpose to create brilliant experiences and pamper discerning travellers with high levels of comfort, luxury and exclusivity.
The Executive Lounge is exclusively available to guests staying in an Executive Room category or above. It is situated on level 27 of the hotel, and the lounge serves complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. Guests can enjoy magnificent views of the city skyline, have a drink, play a board game or keep abreast of current affairs from a wide range of news sources.

Singapore Marriott Tang Plaza Hotel guests are able to enjoy the facilities available such as the gym, sauna and jacuzzi. Besides that guests can enjoy spas, massages and a range of beauty services that include facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing.

Located at level 5 of the hotel, the swimming pool at Marriott is difficult to miss. During my staycation, I spent some time chilling by the pool. If you wish to stay by the pool, you will be glad to know that are a total of 3 different types of rooms in this area known as ‘Pool Terrace Room’, ‘Pool Terrace Executive Suite’ and ‘Pool Terrace Premier Suite’.
9. Reasonable Pricing
