Jjimdak is chicken braised in a savory soya sauce. Using the sauces imported from Korea, They localized it to present a unique look with an authentic taste. The Seoul Jjimdak is located at City Square Mall, Level 5.
Their signature dish, Seoul Jjimdak, it’s a braised chicken dish. It was served with chicken, potatoes, carrots, onions, potato noodles and vegetables in braised gravy. The staff will assist to ensure that the Jjimdak is well-cooked. The portion is big enough for 2 – 3 pax.
Budae Jjigae known as Army Stew is one of the common dishes that served in most Korean Restaurant. This Korean army stew was served with luncheon meat, sausages, baked beans, pork belly strips, tofu and mixed vegetables. You can add on ramyeon and cheese too to enhance the flavorful and cheesy texture too.
Seafood Pancake was served with prawns, squids, chili padi and green onions. The pancake was crispy on the outside and moist and soft on the inside.
Spicy Cheese Tteokbokki is the traditional Korean rice cake that you can easily find in all Korean restaurants. This tteokbokki comes in spicy and cheese version. Cheese lover will surely love it but I find that it wasn’t spicy enough and the tteokbokki can be softer it will be good.
This seafood stew served with prawn, squids, kimchi, chili padi, onion and vegetables. The broth was flavorful and the seafood was fresh.
My Verdict:
I enjoyed my dining experience at Seoul Jjimdak located conveniently at City Square Mall level 5. The Korean side dishes were well-marinated and prepared for diners. Hence, I highly recommend everyone to try their braised chicken dish, whereby you definitely won’t regret after your first mouth of taste! Seoul Jjimdak is one of the comfortable dining places for you to gather with a group of friends as well as family to dine in.
