Bodacious Bar and Bistro is located near Buona Vista MRT station. The name “Bodacious” mean Bold and Delicious. There also known for their Instagram-worthy food and pretty modern interior design. This 130-seat bar-bistro might be a ideal place for a big groups to hang around for some crafts beer.

Thai Grilled Beef Salad – $13.80
Green vegetables, trio of peppers, pomelo, cherry tomatoes, daikon, basil, mint, Sirloin beef strips and topped with Thai vinaigrette dressing. An healthy and refreshing salad to start off your meal.

Bodacious Eggs Benedict – $14.80
Norwegian smoked salmon, English muffin spread with avocado, Poached eggs, drizzled with hollandaise sauce. The side dish came with asparagus, cherry tomato, strawberry and blueberry. The basic combination for Eggs Benedict and it’s also the all time local favorite breakfast dish.

Croissant & Scrambled Eggs – $14.80
Croissant filled with scrambled eggs and topped with Crispy bacon and flowers, it was served together with portobello mushroom, cherry tomato, asparagus, Strawberry and Blueberry. The flowers are not for display, it’s edible! The flowers tasted bitter. The scrambled eggs were well cooked as it give me a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Seafood Risotto – $15.80
Pan-seared prawns, calamari and risotto coated in seafood broth. I rarely try risotto as i don’t really like the texture of it but this risotto changed me. This was seafood risotto was really good, i guarantee once you tried it, you will hook on to it.

Grilled Chicken & Pesto Pasta – $14.80
Grilled chicken, pasta in pesto sauce. The pasta was well tossed with pesto sauce but i find their pesto taste wasn’t strong enough for my liking.

Laksa Pasta – $15.80
Prawn, clams, dory fish, squid, pasta in laska sauce and topped with laska leaf. This dish was my favorite among all. I will highly recommend it to everyone! The laska broth was aromatic, creamy and they catch the spiciness to the perfect. It wasn’t too spicy to destroy the overall taste, so now everyone can try it even for those non-spicy eater (maybe need drink more water for them). Very little eatery places served a good laska pasta that will make me come back for more.

Fatty Duck Confit – $19.80
Duck confit served with potato mashed, carrot, and asparagus along with dark cherry sauce. The duck meat was very tender and the skin was crispy. It was an very tricky dish to cook as the duck meat tend to dry and tough. To make the meat to be so tender, the chef put in lots of effort in it. The duck meat goes perfectly well with the bitter-sweet dark cherry sauce.

Tenderloin Steak & Fries – $21.80
Grilled Australia grass-fed beef cooked in medium rare, topped with special sauce. Potatoes fries was served as side. The steak was really soft and tender. This dish was really value for money as you can’t really find a good steak at this price tag in a restaurant.

Shibuya Toast – $13.80
Honey drizzled toast topped with salted butter and vanilla ice-cream. Strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, banana, whip cream was served along with the toast. The toast was coated with honey before it get toasted. An healthy and yet sinful dessert to complete my meal.

My Verdict:
Bodacious serve awesome food at affordable price. With it cozy ambiance, the working peoples can enjoy the food and have some drinks over here to kill of some stress after work. They will change their menu once in awhile to surprise their customers.
