The weekend brunch menu will be available starting from 22 February 2014.
We had a chance to try out some of the items on the Weekend Brunch Menu:
Stacked Brunch Torte ($14.90)
This Italian dish is flavoursome with Eggs, Ham, Mushroom, Spinach, Cheese & Bell Pepper sandwiched between flaky Puff Pastry. This is my favourite among all the brunch dishes.
Toasty Tortilla ($14.90)
First thought of Tortilla will think of thin flat bread made from finely ground wheat flour, however, in Spanish term, tortilla is actually a thick egg omelette made with potatoes and other ingredientt. The Stewed Beans with Chorizo goes well with Brioche Toast and the Scrambled Egg is definitely popular among all.
Bouncy Benedict ($14.90)
Egg Benedict is all time favourite among most brunch lovers. The dish comes with home-cured Salmon, Baked Tomato, English Muffin & Salad. It also comes with Rosti Potato.
Le Jolly Monsieur ($13.90)
A classic French Sandwich of Ham, Cheese and Bechémel Sauce. It comes with Bacon, Pork Bratwurst and scrambled eggs too. Definitely a dish for the meat lovers!
Poseidon’s Wrap ($14.90)
A thick burrito of prawn, fish, squid, tomatoe and lettuce, with tzatziki, Greek salad and scrambled eggs. This is pretty refreshing and definitely great for the more health conscious ones.
Spicy Chicken Tagine ($13.90)
The Morocco chicken dish stewed with tomatoes, capsicum, and hard boiled eggs in a spicy gravy. It come with a sweet note, the spiciness only comes in much later. One simply can’t help but dipping the potato pancake in tasty sauce.
Egg-crowned Shakshouka ($14.90)
Also a Morocco dish, however, as I’m not into lamb, the taste of the leamb meatboat is overpowering for me, though chewy in texture. You can dip the garlic toast into the Lamb Kefta, Tomatoes and egg tagine. Definitely a dish more suitable for the lamb lovers.
A Berry Pancake Gala ($12.90)
The Pancake comes with Fresh Berries, Summer Berries, Topping Cream. You can have also the choice of Maple Syrup, Mango Sauce, Vanilla Sauce, Strawberry Sauce to go with it. You can skip this as a dessert unless it is the galore of berries that you are going after.
To provide greater selections, MEDZS has a second menu where the two menus will be offered alternatively on a weekly basis.
