Wicked The Musical live in Singapore Review:
Can you imagine a flurry of wild flying monkeys, with creepy music playing and spotlights dancing on the stage? How about guards brandishing their weapons and 18th century people adorned in green costumes? That’s right, welcome to the Emerald City. A city of dreams only to the naive.

No one needs introduction to the main character Elphaba who is decked in black and mocked due to her green colored skin. Yet, she is only as ugly as you think she is. Wait till you hear her break out in song, one of the highlights of the musical. It will leave you in awe. Personally, I found the lyrics to be most catchy and uplifting, full of positive vibes.

Wicked is no doubt one of the best musicals with a theme focused on friendship and sacrifice. A light hearted musical that gives you a different perspective to the story of the Wizard of Oz, it does not fail to entertain. Just Glinda and her regular hair tosses and jokes at expense at her shallow character will keep you laughing in your seats.
