Woohoo! Chinese New Year is coming… It’s time to do some shopping! Last week, my friend and I went to shop our New Year stuff at City Square Mall. It was a casual afternoon whereby we were looking for some lifestyle and entertainment based in the shopping mall. Well, how do I spend my $100 voucher at City Square Mall?
City Square Mall is a very casual lifestyle shopping mall whereby you can find things such as the latest technology, delicious foods and desserts, fashion stores, entertainment games, F&B, Pet shop, Fast food and restaurant/cafe and of course the golden village cinema to catch a great movie in your free time. Basically, it’s just ‘Eat, Shop and Play’!
Alight! Taking a break from shopping… my friend and I went to The Royals Café to try out their yummy dessert. We ordered the recommended dessert – A slide of ‘Grandma Slice’ and with the humid weather outside, we also ordered a cup of Ice Honey Lemon to cool down our heaty body.
Likewise, with the upcoming Chinese New Year season, massive promotion sale is now happening at City Square Mall. My friend and I had bought some of the items from various shops and I believe that this will enhance our Chinese New Year atmosphere. Last but not least, have fun shopping at City Square Mall now!
City Square Mall, owned and managed by City Developments Limited (CDL), will usher in the Lunar New Year with a celebration of enthralling martial arts performances, a fair on festive goodies and decoration items, as well as other exciting activities to mark the start to a Prosperous Year of the Snake. The mall will also stay open throughout Chinese New Year for visitors to enjoy their holiday shopping.
At the mall, the legend of the Snake will be brought to life through an entertaining show. The “Legend of the Kungfu Snake Show”, boasting a cast of Chinese Martial artists and B-Boy dancers, will feature an innovative fusion of Chinese Wushu and stunning B-Boy dance moves that will entertain everyone in the family. From 25th January – 8th February, shoppers can also enjoy delectable deals and stock up on their Chinese New Year goodies at the “Treats of the Orient Fair” while savouring seasonal treats.
During this period, shoppers can redeem an exclusive mandarin orange eco-carrier and qualify for a lucky spin chance to win a $5 Metro voucher or a pair of GV movie vouchers with a minimum spending of $200* ($250* if inclusive of NTUC FairPrice receipts). In the spirit of going green, the handicrafts have to be fashioned out of recycled paper.
2. Legend of the Kungfu Snake Show
