Well known for its iconic golden lager – Tiger Beer; the local 85 years old brewery has recently released two new beers to the public: Tiger Black and Tiger White.
To celebrate the new launch, Tiger Beer had thrown a party in Holland Village last Friday for a celebration. I’m honoured by the invitation to give these new babies a try! Here is the White vs Black:
Tiger White
The taste of the cloudy wheat beer provides a light crisp refreshing experience with a hint taste of coriander, cloves and citrus with an all-round refreshing finish with a spicy bitter aftertaste. This beverage would be a perfect match along with some light bites while chilling with your friends or having a sunbathed.
Tiger Black
This rich black lager is brewed with black rice from the fields of Asia; creating the lager with a depth yet remains accessible in taste. A slight twist from the white, Tiger Black started off with a dark toffee taste on my taste bud which eventually leads to a dry alcoholic finish, just like it quoted ‘Be Bold’.
Tiger Black and Tiger White are now available at all participating bars, restaurants, major supermarkets, hypermarkets and convenience stores. Do give it a try and I’m sure you’ll not be disappointed.
