Christmas Wonderland 2017 returns at Gardens by the Bay with biggest annual yuletide fair in Singapore. Visitors can look forward to a bigger, brighter and more magical experience in this December!
Organised by Blue Sky Events and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board; visitors can visit Christmas Wonderland 2017 from 4pm to 11pm daily from 1st to 26th December 2017.
There are new carnival attractions and different range of activities and entertainment suitable for visitors of all ages to visit this festive season at Christmas Wonderland with their family and friends.
This year, visitors can experience skating under the stars at the fair’s first-ever outdoor skating rink at The Meadow at Gardens by the Bay.
Visitors also get to see the Asian debut of the highly acclaimed Circus Abyssinia from Ethiopia which is dubbed as “pure circus gold” by The Scotsman and praised as “an incredible spectacle of circus” by Broadway Baby. Sold out at this year’s Edinburgh Festival, Circus Abyssinia Present Ethiopian Dreams will be performed at The Meadow on Tuesdays to Sundays and on Christmas Day.
Meet Santa Claus at one of Asia’s largest Santa’s Grotto, a free attraction open to all ticket holders. Filled with flying life-sized reindeers amid a starry nightscape, pinewood Alpine House; lots of photo installations and photo opportunities with Santa Claus. All visitors will get a chance to win free carnival rides and games to Circus Abyssinia tickets. The Grand Prize to the lucky draw is a pair trip to Lapland, Finland.
Join on a gastronomic journey with specially curated dining by Savour Events – SAVOUR: Christmas Wonderland. The team behind Singapore’s premiere gourmet food festival brand SAVOUR brings you an expanded dining experience offering dishes starting from as low as $6 by featured celebrity chefs from award-winning restaurants such as Shoukouwa (2 Michelin Stars), Saint Pierre (1 Michelin Star) and Monti at Fullerton Pavilion. Visit the specially-curated Wine Market from FairPrice Finest to sample wines around the world.
Not forgetting the magnificent Italian luminarie sculpture of light handcrafted surrounding Christmas Wonderland. Find over 700 luminarie sculpture lit up by 252,000 multi-hued bulbs. Visitors can also look out for the 13m tall Christmas ‘tree’ Experience “snow” feature at the Gardens by the bay.
Families with young children can also check out the carnival rides and games, with double the carnival attractions this year. Enjoy the all-time traditional favourites such as; carousel, Ferris wheel, bumper cars as well as carnival games like Ring Toss and Milk Can Toss.
Visitors can also visit the European-style Festive Market at the Supertree Grove to shop for some Christmas trinkets. Listen and sing along to popular festive tunes at the Garden Rhapsody right at The Supertree Grove.
