The annual Japanese-themed event’s Sakura Day and Panasonic Kranji Mile have successfully held at Singapore Turf Club last Sunday. Invited guests were dressed in their elegant and traditional Yukata outfit to witness the exciting Japanese-culture event.
It was definitely a uniquely and meaningful experience to dress in authentic Japanese Yukata to attend Japanese culture event. Hence, I was amazed by my first debuts in Yukata outfit together with the other lifestyle bloggers at Singapore Turf Club.
It is easy to differentiate a male and female Yukata by the waist belt (Obi) and the dress design. It makes you feel much more cooling especially in Singapore, the all-time summer season. We proceeded on to the committee box for our Japanese lunch buffet, followed by visiting the Sake and Sushi tasting and learning the paper art skill from the origami experts.
A group photo of us at the committee box, before we went off to the parade ring, to get up-close with the horses and jockey. It’s Stunning with a group of gorgeous ladies~! ^^
Group of audiences were looking at our traditional Yukata outfit while we leisurely on our way to the parade ring to see the horses warm up before their next race.
Welcome to the highlight of the day! Sakura Day kick-off with the traditional Japanese dances performance at the prize presentation stage to welcome the Panasonic Kranji Mile Race. Group of bloggers were enjoying taking their outfit of the day photos with the turf club landscape whereas the rest of the patrons excited for the main race to start.
Sakura Day @ Singapore Turf Club ended off with wonderful Japanese-themed activities and remarkable horse live racing and glad that we managed to grab a photo opportunity with the Jockey’s M Rodd, winner of Panasonic Kranji Mile Race. An unforgettable moment of this event was the debuts of my Yukata outfit. Looking forward to next year Sakura Day @ The Racecourse.
