Chinese new year is coming in 2 week, are you ready to welcome the rabbit year? Start of year 2011 comedy movie 笑着回家 (Homecoming) is going to release and below here are my reason on why I want to watch Homecoming this Chinese New Year!
#Reason 1 – My idols:
Yup! Jack Neo, Mark Lee and Ah Niu was my idols in Singapore-Malaysia locate country. Very impress by their acting as in very comedy, people will just easily keep on laughing by their joke and face expression. This time round, Jack Neo going to turn himself into a female character call ‘Karen Neo’! *sound cool* hahaha
#Reason 2 – I like Comedy Movie:
Yes! Since young, i like comedy movie! From this movie trailer itself i can see that mark lee used his own Hokkien, Malaysian and Hongkong accented mandarin, its just kinda funny and unique with the word/sentence but i like it! haha..
#Reason 3 – Related to Chinese New Year:
Very important! This movie show and talk about Chinese New Year family reunion dinner. As we know Chinese New Year is the day of family reunion whereby family member will gather together at one place to have a great dinner with one another.
#Reason 4 – Huat AR!!

Homecoming (笑着回家) Movie Synopsis:
“Homecoming” is about three stories of three different individuals going home for Chinese New Year. A major highlight of the movie is that Jack Neo, who will be cross-dressing on the big screen again after eleven years since “Liang Po Po The Movie” back in 1999. He will be playing mother to Ah Niu’s character. It is said that he was told to lose at least 5kg for his role. Jack Neo long time collaborator Mark Lee and Malaysian multi-talented writer-director-comedian Afdlin Shauki are among the cast.
